Going to the University is not only studying: The pupils of the Complements course organized a barbecue

The pupils of the Complements course of Journalism from the Faculty of Sciences of the Information organized a barbecue the last Saturday, 16th of May, at Pedro Álvarez Park, in Tegueste. Around fifteen people went to this barbecue that started at 1 pm and finished at 7 pm.

The reason of this celebration wasn’t any special event, only that the pupils say that they are not only colleagues but also friends, and they are able to know each other better in activities like that. However, they hope that more people from the Complements and the rest of the courses go in the next events, because they secure that they enjoyed together a lot.

Only seven euros per person and they had a great day in the country, smiling and playing cards, singing… They also played the guitar. That is the third barbecue celebrated during the present course, although they are planning the fourth one now. Within a month they are going to celebrate another one in a rural house, before starting the exams of June and July.

The pupils hope that this type of meetings continue the next summer and the rest of the courses, because they secure that studying at the University is not only going to the classes and studying but also meeting many people and enjoying themselves.
