Intel sends new "brains" for PC
The Chips support applications of 64 bits offer greater performance, saving energy and is ideal for games of PC and editions of video.
Intel, the greater manufacturer of ‘ brains ’ for PC of the world, sent new models of the line Pentium 4 which support applications of 64 bits. However, it does not exist a Window of Microsoft which is compatible with this option (the current XP has 32 bits).
In order to emphasize the announcement of Intel, the new version of the Pentium 4 Extreme Edition offers a speed of clock of 3.73 GHz and “a bus of system” (as large as a ‘ motorway ’ where the data circulate within the processor) of 1 GHz, improving the present 800 MHz of the quickest existing Pentium 4.
The chip has one second memory cache (that the ‘brain’ uses to store information that it needs urgently, like images of a video game, for example) of 2 MB, doubling therefore the present capacity of Pentium 4. Intel also displayed series 600 of Pentium 4 with a speed of 3.0 and 3.6 GHz. The manufacturer also indicated that his 'brains' of the Celeron reference will inherit some of the new features of these Pentium 4 in their next versions.
