Reinas is not another Spanish film

Reinas is a new Spanish film. In this movie the loves, the relationships and the mothers are the plot of the film.
The first gay wedding in the history of Spain is the principal theme of  Reinas. Three courting couples without connection among them are going
to marry the same day. The problems with theirs mothers, their jobs and
the dog add the humour to the film.
This comedy counts on a luxury cast: Marisa Paredes, Veronica Forqué,
Carmen Maura... and on some very important and new actors: Unax Ugalde, Paco León... The director, Manuel Gómez Pereira has produced a different film in which old and new actors are mixed to make a present-day and funny movie.
Homosexual marriage is an important question in our society and, in my
opinion, the treatment of this theme in Reinas is very admirable, with the respect and the normality that it needs. It is a typical film, but with a new treatment.
