Formada en The American Academy of Dramatic Arts de Nueva York, donde completó su programa de interpretación para profesionales en el 2000, Marta realizó cursos de interpretación en Georgetown University y NYU, durante sus años de formación en los EEUU.  Comenzó actuando en cortometrajes en Georgetown University, dentro de la Film Society, y después en el año 1997 comenzó a trabajar en teatros del circuito Off Off Broadway de Nueva York.  En el 2001 regresó a España, donde ha trabajado en varias obras de teatro, tanto en inglés como en español, en cortometrajes y largos (ver sección CV) y donde ha comenzado también a producir teatro con su productora Galante Productions.

 

A graduate of New York's American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Marta Rubio also completed a minor in theatre at Georgetown University and took acting courses at NYU.  She started acting in high school and continued acting while a student at Georgetown University by working in several student short films. In NYC she worked in theatre, Off Off Broadway, both in Spanish and English plays. She moved to Spain in 2001 and has since worked in several short films and features, and has continued working in the theatre (Click on CV option). She set up her own theatre production company in 2005, Galante Productions.
