This is a typical Roll Pass Design in Rolling Mills Morgan, in use in numerous Plants. In general presents several inconveniences that many Rolling Mills has not still solved. The waste of grooves is very high, especially in the square sections, and this passes requires heavy stock removal because don't maintain original form. Also for the delayed times to change family of products from 6.35mm to 5.50mm. (Gets lost up to 5 hs to carry out the changes and it wraps great quantity of human resources and materials , rolls and accessories). Consequently it is almost impossible with this Roll Pass Design to guarantee production continuity, since when everything is adjusted and is changed family it should be adjusted all the Stands again with their accessories. Any human error also delays even more the start-up in the Rolling Mill.
